Beth's party was at Tumble Club this year. She's been interested in gymnastics, and I just really didn't want to go to the typical, crowded places for a party. We still had a Wizard of Oz theme for plates and cake and such. The kids had SOOOO much fun. They started with stretches, learned some tricks on the floor and mats,
moved on to bouncing and tricks on the super-long trampoline,
Who do you think was running the show?
Though Megan was more interesting in using the mini-trampoline by the radio as her personal dancing stage. Too bad I didn't get a pic of the crotch grab move- hehehe!
more floor races and fun,
then a big giant slide.
Did you notice that the tablecloth was "the yellow brick road"?
Ah, the first year she wasn't frightened or pissed about everyone singing "Happy Birthday". It was more like "everyone is singing this to me, I'm so special"
Present time! All the kids started out watching then slowly drifted away and back to playing. I'm so proud that Beth took the time to read each card, open the gift and thank the person who gave it to her. She got lots of fun craft kits (right up her alley), books, movies, games and clothes. The biggest hits were the baby doll she'd requested right down to the color outfit it had on and the skirt and dress from Courtney.
It was a great day! After we got home, the kiddos had great naps. Later, lots of the moms told me how much fun their kids had. Once everyone got home, the party bags were a hit too (a ball from Toto, smarties from the Scarecrow, lollipops from the Lollipop Guild, bubbles from Glinda the good witch, and heart stickers from the tin man, all tied up with a ribbon from Dorothy).

Yep, that's my girl...thanks for not getting the other shot. Great party!
Lot of kiddos! Looks like fun! Clever yellow brick road. That pic of her with her cake getting her Happy Birthday song...is priceless!
Love that picture of her and the cake. How precious!
